The Power of Bartering

Barter is the trading of goods and services for other goods and services. Before we had notes and coins, barter was the only means of exchanging goods and services.

Bartering stills exists today. Kyle McDonald used the power of bartering to exchange a paper clip for a house. Watch the following Youtube video to see how he did it.

    Who would trade a camping stove for a door knob
    The camping stove probably costs 20 times more than the door knob

    Hey, glad to see more people are realising the benefit of bartering to get them through the times. We’ve just set up a website to try and kick-start the barterconomy!


    We’re actually trying to re-create the paperclip trade on it!
