Industrial Relations in Action

Both Secondary Teachers Unions in Ireland (ASTI & TUI) have voted in favour of strike action ( official industrial relations action), in opposition to the replacement of the new Junior cycle. Unions are set to meet with education minister Jan O’ Sullivan at the end of November to discuss the issue further. For all you senior business students this trade dispute comes under the Industrial Relations Act 1990.
